It’s back to school time again! With school back in session, most of are running to the store for clothes and new school supplies. A Lot of kids unfortunately are not that lucky. Here are the top 5 charities for kids.

Share Our Strength

Share Our Strength is a non profit that has several campaigns like No Kid Hungry to help end childhood hunger in the U.S.A and Cooking Matters, which assist low-income families learn to shop and cook healthier.

Kaboom

Kaboom is a non profit dedicated to providing kids in poverty and low income families safe play areas. They work with city and community leaders to build playgrounds where kids can have fun and exercise in a safe environment.

Reach And Read

Reach And Read is a unique non profit for children. They provide books to kids at doctor’s offices when they are getting their check ups. Used books are distributed and money donations are also accepted.

Parents As Teachers

Parents As Teachers assist parents by sending staff to help with parenting skills. The staff teaches them skills to increase their confidence and help them grow as parents. As parents you are the key to a child’s future.

Project Linus

Project Linus is a non profit gives children that have undergone trauma or ill with blankets. Blankets can be quilts, comforters, or fleece throws. Cash donations are also accepted.
