Movers For Moms -My Sister’s Place

We are thrilled to announce that Movers For Moms is back! Our second annual charity campaign will be benefiting My Sister’s Place, a non-profit women and children’s shelter. Since its founding in 2000, My Sister’s Place has been serving thousands of women and their families in the Gainesville area. According to their website, owner Marty Owens has always had two goals for the organization:

  1. Provide a haven for a fresh start for homeless women and children
  2. Shower all who entered with God’s lovemovers-4-mom-graphic-2

Along with providing shelter, My Sister’s Place offers transportation assistance, meals, life-skill workshops, and counseling. With all the incredible work that they do on a daily basis, My Sister’s Place needs help collecting the items and supplies that they need. That’s where Movers For Moms comes into play. Here’s the wish list items that they have assembled for us:

  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Hand soap
  • Body wash
  • Non-perishable
  • Umbrellas
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Bleach
  • Disinfectant wipes
  • Disinfectant aerosol spray
  • 9v batteries
  • Light bulbs
  • QuikTrip gas cards

Please contact our Suwanee office at (678) 926-9268 and we would be more than happy to come pick up any of the previously mentioned supplies. #MoversForMoms
